Sammy Cronje
Born in johannesburg, I have always had a fascination with photo's. My first camera was a bright pink film camera, which took possibly the worst photo's imaginable. I used to drive my parents crazy insisting that they take me to develop them.
Moving to digital was probably the best thing I could have done. The freedom to shoot as often as I like opened the door to a host of new techniques. There is still a definate place for film photography as the art in capturing the image without digital assistance is still one that I am trying to master.
